Al-Burooj

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 1By the sky containing great starsوَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ۝١
2. 2And [by] the promised Dayوَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ۝٢
3. 3And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ۝٣
4. 4Cursed were the companions of the trenchقُتِلَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ۝٤
5. 5[Containing] the fire full of fuel,ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ۝٥
6. 6When they were sitting near itإِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ۝٦
7. 7And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ۝٧
8. 8And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ۝٨
9. 9To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness.ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ۝٩
10. 10Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ۝١٠
11. 11Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ۝١١
12. 12Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ۝١٢
13. 13Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ۝١٣
14. 14And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate,وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ۝١٤
15. 15Honorable Owner of the Throne,ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ۝١٥
16. 16Effecter of what He intends.فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ۝١٦
17. 17Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ۝١٧
18. 18[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ۝١٨
19. 19But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍ۝١٩
20. 20While Allah encompasses them from behind.وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ۝٢٠
21. 21But this is an honored Qur'anبَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَانٌ مَّجِيدٌ۝٢١
22. 22[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.فِى لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوظٍۭ۝٢٢
