Adh-Dhaariyat

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 1By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersingوَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًا۝١
2. 2And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water]فَٱلْحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقْرًا۝٢
3. 3And those [ships] sailing with easeفَٱلْجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسْرًا۝٣
4. 4And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter,فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمْرًا۝٤
5. 5Indeed, what you are promised is true.إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ۝٥
6. 6And indeed, the recompense is to occur.وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌ۝٦
7. 7By the heaven containing pathways,وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ۝٧
8. 8Indeed, you are in differing speech.إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ۝٨
9. 9Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded.يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ۝٩
10. 10Destroyed are the falsifiersقُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ۝١٠
11. 11Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless.ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ۝١١
12. 12They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?"يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ۝١٢
13. 13[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fireيَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ۝١٣
14. 14[And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient."ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ۝١٤
15. 15Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs,إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ۝١٥
16. 16Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good.ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ۝١٦
17. 17They used to sleep but little of the night,كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ۝١٧
18. 18And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ۝١٨
19. 19And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ۝١٩
20. 20And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَٰتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ۝٢٠
21. 21And in yourselves. Then will you not see?وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ۝٢١
22. 22And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ۝٢٢
23. 23Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking.فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ۝٢٣
24. 24Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? -هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ۝٢٤
25. 25When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown.إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًا قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ۝٢٥
26. 26Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calfفَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ۝٢٦
27. 27And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?"فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ۝٢٧
28. 28And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ۝٢٨
29. 29And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!"فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ۝٢٩
30. 30They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing."قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ۝٣٠
31. 31[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ۝٣١
32. 32They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminalsقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ۝٣٢
33. 33To send down upon them stones of clay,لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن طِينٍ۝٣٣
34. 34Marked in the presence of your Lord for the transgressors."مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ۝٣٤
35. 35So We brought out whoever was in the cities of the believers.فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ۝٣٥
36. 36And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims.فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ۝٣٦
37. 37And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment.وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةً لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ۝٣٧
38. 38And in Moses [was a sign], when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority.وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ۝٣٨
39. 39But he turned away with his supporters and said," A magician or a madman."فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ۝٣٩
40. 40So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy.فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ۝٤٠
41. 41And in 'Aad [was a sign], when We sent against them the barren wind.وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ۝٤١
42. 42It left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins.مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ۝٤٢
43. 43And in Thamud, when it was said to them, "Enjoy yourselves for a time."وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ۝٤٣
44. 44But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on.فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ۝٤٤
45. 45And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves.فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ۝٤٥
46. 46And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ۝٤٦
47. 47And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ۝٤٧
48. 48And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer.وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَٰهِدُونَ۝٤٨
49. 49And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember.وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ۝٤٩
50. 50So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ۝٥٠
51. 51And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ۝٥١
52. 52Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman."كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ۝٥٢
53. 53Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ۝٥٣
54. 54So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed.فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ۝٥٤
55. 55And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ۝٥٥
56. 56And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ۝٥٦
57. 57I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ۝٥٧
58. 58Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength.إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ۝٥٨
59. 59And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me.فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ۝٥٩
60. 60And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised.فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ۝٦٠
