Al-Masad
The Palm Fibre. 5 ayat. Meccan.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
- 1May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
- 2His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
- 3He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flameسَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
- 4And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
- 5Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
Translation: Saheeh International. Choose another in Reading settings (Aa).
