At-Takaathur

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 1Competition in [worldly] increase diverts youأَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ۝١
2. 2Until you visit the graveyards.حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ۝٢
3. 3No! You are going to know.كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ۝٣
4. 4Then no! You are going to know.ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ۝٤
5. 5No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ۝٥
6. 6You will surely see the Hellfire.لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ۝٦
7. 7Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ۝٧
8. 8Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ۝٨
