It may differ from the published print, and the two have not been compared. The editor's marks the draft still holds are printed here exactly as they stand, not tidied away: six placeholder footnotes (\"[expand]\", \"[ref needed]\", \"[note needed on Ibn Sīnā…]\" and others), nine \"[?]\" after renderings, two \"[read: …?]\" suggestions and the honorific \"(ṣlʿm)\", which the draft left unexpanded. Sūrahs 40 to 77 (volumes 15 to 17, supplied as one scanned PDF of 1,346 page images) are read from the scan by OCR, each page once, by a single reader (no second reading yet); those passages are marked unverified in the data (the reader sees no mark on any passage, and the work's badge is the owner's ruled exception of 2026-10-08: see workBadge), and 11 of the scan's pages could be read only by tesseract, so their passages are flagged and are the first to be read a second time. Section 3 of sūrah 6, \"A Commitment to Mercy\", is imported from the undamaged PDF pages 62 to 79 (printed pages 57 to 74); its opening translation (verses 12 to 19) and the end of section 2 (printed pages 48 to 56) are on the lost pages and are missing until an undamaged volume 5 is supplied, and the section's verse range, 12 to 19, is the project's own derivation, flagged on its first passage.
